Try out this 4.4 mile out-and-back trail near Bonner Ferry. It takes about 2h 20min to complete and is considered to be a moderately challenging route. The best times to hike this trial are June through October when you will find huckleberries and wildflowers and won't encounter snow. The drive in via NF-274 is difficult and requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle, but the hiking trail is well maintained and the views at the top of Clifty Mountain are so worth the hike!
